Alice Fauci

Researcher of the Italian National Institute of Health since 2003, is a sinologist and socio-anthropologist, with experience in public health, training and research on health systems and services.

She received her first degree in Chinese Language and Culture from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, her M.A. in Social Anthropology of Development from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London and a PhD in Public Health at La Sapienza University of Rome.

In her professional experience, she has developed expertise in the design and implementation of quali-quantitative studies applied to the management of health services at national level and internationally; design, facilitation and evaluation of training modules in the area of research on health services, both residential and e-learning and with Problem Based Learning (PBL) methodology; scientific and technical support t /public health projects and programs and clinical trial on CAM.

As for the specific reaserch area of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she is currently Scientific Director of the Joint Sino-Italian Laboratory on Traditional Chinese Medicine and as such she has followed the conduction of several studies and is author of several scientific articles.
